Parade line-up begins promptly at 4:30 p.m. to allow time to judge floats. Floats arriving late may not be judged.

Undecorated cars can arrive at 5 p.m. and will not be judged.

Float Categories: Church, Civic Group, Business, and School. Parade prizes will be awarded in each category.

Santa is attending the parade courtesy of the Winfield Chamber of Commerce. No fake Santas please.

All floats line-up by the Board of Education office parking lot and middle school gym parking lot. All other vehicles and riders, please park in the lot by the football field.

All drivers in the parade must be properly licensed and covered by appropriate insurance as mandated by Alabama law. All drivers must use caution and maintain proper parade speed and be at least 19 years of age. While operating a vehicle participating in the parade, drivers are strictly forbidden to use cell phones, handheld devices or cameras and the use of these while operating a vehicle will result in removal from the parade.

Groups of younger people must be registered by an adult who is responsible for the group and at least 19 years of age.

Vehicles must be in safe working condition.

Parade drivers and participants agree to follow the instructions of the Winfield Police Department and parade volunteers from the Winfield Chamber of Commerce.

The Winfield Chamber of Commerce, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny any parade entry if it deems the entry inappropriate or distasteful to the Christmas theme.
